Duplicate pages (Copy a webpage with the same settings)

If you want to monitor a new URL using the exact same settings as an existing webpage, you don’t have to start from scratch.

With the Copy feature, you can duplicate an existing page in your account. All settings — including capture frequency, width, height, capture location, etc — will be cloned into a new webpage item.

This is especially useful when:

  • You want to monitor a similar page on the same website
  • You are adding multiple pages with identical settings
  • You want to test a variation without changing the original setup

What happens when you copy a page?

When you duplicate a webpage:

  • A new webpage item is created
  • All settings are copied exactly as they are
  • You are immediately taken into Edit mode for the new page
  • You only need to change the URL
  • Optionally, you can set a new Title

The original webpage remains unchanged.

Best practice

When duplicating pages:

  • Always double-check the new URL before saving
  • Confirm the capture frequency is appropriate for the new page
  • Review notification settings to avoid unnecessary alerts

Using the Copy feature saves time and ensures consistency across multiple monitored webpages.

If you are managing many similar URLs, duplicating an existing page is often the fastest and most reliable way to scale your monitoring setup.
